Ordering & Payment
How do I place an order? Simply browse our collection of fancy dress and personalised clothing, select your preferred items, choose any customisation options, and add to your cart. Follow the checkout process to complete your purchase securely.
What payment methods do you accept? We accept Shop Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase. View our full payment policy for more details.
Is it safe to use my credit card on your site? Absolutely. All transactions are processed through encrypted and PCI-compliant payment gateways. We do not store or have access to your complete payment card details, ensuring your financial information remains protected at all times.
What currency do you use? All transactions are processed in GBP (British Pounds). If purchasing from outside the UK, your bank or payment provider may apply a currency conversion rate or additional fees.
When will my payment be charged? Payments are charged immediately at checkout. You'll receive an email confirmation once your order and payment have been successfully processed. If your payment is declined, please contact your bank or card issuer before retrying.
Can I modify or cancel my order? Orders can be modified or cancelled within a short window after placement, ideally before 5:00 PM GMT on the day of order. Once your order enters production (usually 0-1 business day), it cannot be changed. Please contact us immediately at sales@adultweekender.com if you need to make changes.
What is your order cut-off time? Our daily cut-off time is 5:00 PM GMT (London). Orders received after this time are processed the next business day. For Next Day delivery, orders must be placed before 2:00 PM. For Amazon 2-Day shipping, order before 12:30 PM.
Do I have to pay taxes? Applicable taxes are calculated based on your shipping address and included at checkout. All prices displayed include VAT where applicable.
Shipping & Delivery
How long will delivery take? Standard delivery typically takes 1-4 business days after dispatch (Monday-Friday). Orders are processed within 0-1 business day. Amazon 2-Day shipping is available for orders placed before 12:30 PM, and Next Day delivery is available for orders placed before 2:00 PM. Personalised items may require additional production time. What are your shipping costs?
- Orders under £30: £3.99 standard shipping
- Orders £30+: Free standard shipping
- Next Day delivery: £4.99 (order before 2:00 PM)
- UPS Next Working Day: £6.99 for orders under £30, £4.99 for orders over £30 (order before 12:30 PM)
Do you ship internationally? No, we currently ship within the United Kingdom only. All orders are fulfilled and dispatched from our UK facility in Reading. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or BFPO addresses.
How can I track my order? Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking link. You can use this to monitor your delivery status in real-time. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to activate after dispatch.
What if my package is lost or delayed? If your order hasn't arrived within 7 business days after dispatch, contact us at sales@adultweekender.com with your order number. We'll open an inquiry with the courier and work to resolve the issue.
What if my package arrives damaged? Contact us immediately within 48 hours of delivery at sales@adultweekender.com. Include your order number and photos of the packaging and damaged items. We'll arrange a replacement or refund in line with our refund policy.
Personalisation
What personalisation options are available? We offer monogramming, custom embroidery, and various colour thread options. You can add initials, names, or short phrases to make your weekender truly unique.
How long does personalisation take? Personalised items require an additional 2-3 business days for production before shipping.
Can I preview my personalisation before ordering? Yes! Our customisation tool shows a preview of how your personalisation will look before you complete your purchase.
Are personalised items refundable? Due to the custom nature of personalised items, they cannot be returned unless there is a defect or error on our part. Please double-check all spelling and details before finalising your order.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy? We offer a 30-day return policy from the date you receive your order. Non-personalised fancy dress and standard stock items can be returned if unworn, unused, and in original condition with all tags attached. Personalised items are non-returnable unless damaged, defective, or we made an error. Certain hygiene items (wigs, underwear, hosiery, cosmetics) cannot be returned if opened or worn. How do I return an item? Complete the returns form on our website or include a note with your order number and return reason. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it via tracked post to: Adult Weekenders, 5 Tree Close, Tilehurst, Reading, RG30 4TG, United Kingdom. Return postage is the customer's responsibility.
When will I receive my refund? Refunds are processed within 10 business days after we receive and inspect your returned item. You'll receive an email confirmation when your refund is completed. Depending on your payment provider, funds may take an additional 3-5 business days to appear in your account. Refunds cover the product price only—original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Can I return personalised items? Personalised and print-on-demand items are made specifically for you and are non-returnable, unless they arrive damaged, defective, or we made an error. Please double-check all spelling, names, and design details before ordering, as we cannot accept returns for customer input errors or change of mind.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect? Contact us within 3 business days of delivery at sales@adultweekender.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos. We'll review your case within 2 working days and arrange a replacement or refund if approved.
Do you offer exchanges? We don't currently offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or product, please return your original item for a refund (if eligible) and place a new order for your preferred item.

- Standard shipping (1-4 business days)

For Big Weekenders or large group orders, ordering 3-4 weeks in advance gives you peace of mind. Need it faster? Our Next Day delivery option is available for orders placed before 12:00 PM (where available for non-personalised items).
What materials are your products made from? Our personalised clothing is made from quality cotton and cotton-blend fabrics. Fancy dress items vary by product—each item page details the specific materials used for that costume or accessory.
How do I care for my items? Care instructions vary by product type. Personalised clothing can typically be machine washed (inside out, cold water recommended). Fancy dress items and delicate accessories may require hand washing or spot cleaning. Detailed care instructions are included with every purchase.
